If your looking for a fun place to play mountain golf then look no further than Smoky Mountain Country Club! The course location is perfect between Cherokee and Bryson City NC, and close to Great Smoky Mountains National Park! Nestled in a mountain valley known as the Conley’s Creek area you will be surprised as you take the short but winding road from the main highway. The area will open up to a beautiful mountain golf community. The course itself was designed by Thomas Walker and features bent grass greens and Bermuda tee boxes and fairways. The course has a par of 71 and plays 6100 yards for the back tees. The design of the course most certainly fits into the natural harmony of the land surrounding it. There are stunning tee boxes and holes with significant elevation changes of up to 400 feet! The club house is very clean and adequate containing a small restaurant and bar, pro-shop, and restroom and locker room facilities. There is a driving range and putting practice area as well. The staff have always been friendly and courteous to us as well as our stay and play guests. This is an excellent place to play a round if your looking to play a round or two of golf in the Smoky Mountains. If your group is staying with us at the Hive Lodge or The Ol’ Gun Range Cabin then you are only three miles away!
